At Higher Materials, we believe that we should contribute to our society in a positive way at the largest scale. As we all know, there are so many issues in the world. Not enough involvement or willingness to solve the issues as an individual or business enterprises, the issues have not been solved for so many years.

At Higher Materials we believe that we can make a difference and start taking actions towards these issues by teaming up with our partners, vendors and customers.

Having fed, getting proper education and access to clean water are essentials and our future relies on kids. At present time, there are huge differences between each country’s economic condition across the world, but this should not really affect the essentials. Having kids dying of hunger, not providing proper education and no access to clean water is our biggest shame for our civilization because we are still letting this unfortunate situation to happen. UN Secretary Ban Ki-Moon said ” We need a new ethic by which every human being realizes the importance of the challenge we are facing and starts to take action through changes in lifestyle and attitude.” This is the only way we can make an impact to make this world change to become a better place.

Just as an individual can start making a difference right away, we can even make a much bigger difference at the corporate level. Under current circumstances in our world, we believe corporations should play a key role to solve world hunger and to support proper education programs and provide necessary infrastructure to access to clean water. At Higher Materials, we set up the Fight Hunger & Light to Educate & Access to Water (FHLEAW) Program by teaming up with non-profit organizations that facilitate the proper activities in different parts of the world sharing the same vision. To support, we would like to contribute a certain portion of our company’s sales to this program. In addition, based on our main product line, we would like to donate our HM Flex hose that can be used to bring clean water to those communities in desperate need.

We are also encouraging our customers, partners, suppliers, and vendors to participate on this program by contributing in any possible way. For our customers, there are two ways they can participate; every hose purchase they made from us, we will be contributing to FHLEAW program automatically or their direct contribution to the program is always welcomed without any sales restriction. The money that will be accumulated for this program and it will be used 100% for the kids who needs food, proper education and clean water. We also would like to hear your opinion and ideas to improve this program. We would like to be a part of the solution by addressing one of the global problems. Any individual who is taking a quick action for this purpose can create a ripple effect at the corporate level, industry level, country level and global level.  Let’s get the ball rolling!!!
