Disaster Relief:

Oil Refinery or Depot Emergency System:
Emergency oil storage system is composed of HM Flex Bladder tanks, HM Flex TPU delivery hose and pumping station that is mainly used for emergency oil transfer and storage for large oil depot/refinery and petrochemical plant in case of fire as well as short-term oil storage in daily maintenance of steel tank.
Sewage collection system-Oily Sewage Discharge:
Mainly used for oily wastewater treatment produced from large petrochemical plants in case of fire. The system puts out fire on the oil tank and cools the adjacent tanks. When leading the oily sewage conduit inside the fire dike outside, cutting measures shall be taken outside the dike to prevent oil product flowing out of the tank area. Sewage with and without oil must be discharged separately. Oily sewage shall be discharged through the hose. Surface water without oil may be discharged through an open channel, but a water sealing device shall be set in front of the enclosure of the oil depot/refinery. Only after reaching the current national discharge standard through treatment can oily sewage be discharged. HM Flex TPU discharge hose would be an ideal discharge hose for oily sewage fluid.

Different types of oil/fuel mixed with wasterwater can make it more complex properties. The common pollutants are benzene, methyl benzol, ethyl benzene, dimethyl benzene and epoxy ethane, naphthalene, isooctane etc., so wastewater is slightly acid, with COD value of 750―4500mg/l, BOD/COD value within 0.1-0.15 and oil content of 20-100mg/l. Wastewater has heavier smoky odor, which cannot reach the discharge standard with traditional treatment methods. In this case, a wastewater processor can be used.
Emergency Waterline or Sewage line Breaks:
Due to mother nature acts such as earthquakes, floods can damage or break the buried pvc, steel or any other type of rigid pipeline. Until the rigid pipeline gets fixed, the lay flat hose would provide the regular pipeline’s functions as usual. It would be a quick, cost effective solution under the emergency situation.
